Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the voxlin.ai marketing site. The aim is to show plainly what is stored in your browser and how you can control it.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Local storage and session storage, which serve a similar function, are also covered by this policy. Cookies are used to remember your preferences, to run the site and to produce usage statistics.
2. Cookies used on this site
The marketing site uses the smallest possible number of stored records:
- voxlin_locale — Strictly necessary / functional cookie. Stores the interface language you chose (tr or en); it is read to show content in the right language, including the 404 page, when you arrive through a direct link. Duration: 12 months. Party: first party.
- voxlin-locale-position — Strictly necessary / technical record (sessionStorage). Holds a position value valid for only 15 seconds so your place on the page is preserved when you switch language; it is cleared when you close the tab. Party: first party.
- _ga and _ga_* — Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). Loaded only on the published, indexable site, only when a measurement id is configured and only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice; no analytics code runs before consent, and none is present in development or staging environments. Used to distinguish visitors and measure sessions. Duration: _ga 2 years, _ga_* 2 years. Party: third party (Google).
- voxlin_consent — Strictly necessary cookie. Stores your decision (accept/decline) on analytics cookies so the notice is not shown on every visit. Duration: 12 months. Party: first party.
- Console and app session cookies — Out of scope for this policy. Session and security cookies on app.voxlin.ai are processed under that application's own notices when you sign in to your account.
3. Measurement and analytics
Measurement cookies produce aggregated data that shows which pages draw interest and where the site is hard to use. They are not essential; you can block them from your browser settings or with your browser's tracking protection. Blocking them does not affect how the site works.
Analytics data is not used for advertising personalisation and is not shared with advertising networks.
4. Legal basis
Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work rely on Article 51 of Electronic Communications Law no. 5809 and on the legitimate interest ground in Article 5/2-f of KVKK, and do not require consent.
Non-essential measurement cookies are processed with explicit consent, in line with the Personal Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on Cookie Practices. During periods when measurement cookies are used on the site, consent is collected through a cookie notice layer and can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Managing your preferences
From your browser settings you can delete or block cookies, or allow them per site. If you delete the voxlin_locale cookie your language preference is reset and the site picks a language from the address you visit.
You can change your analytics decision at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. To opt out of Google Analytics measurement you can also use Google's browser add-on or enable third-party cookie blocking in your browser.
6. Changes
When the cookies used by the site change, this list is updated and the date at the top of the page is refreshed. The KVKK Privacy Notice and the Privacy Policy also apply to personal data processed through cookies.
