Text to speech: read your script in a voice you choose and create your own AI voice over.

The text to speech tool in Voxlin Voice Studio reads your written script in a voice you choose. Narrate a product introduction, a training course or a story without booking a recording studio: add your text, pick a library voice and an output language, then generate and listen. It is made for marketing, training and content teams that need AI voice over.

What the text to speech tool is, and who it is for

Text to speech turns written words into a spoken recording. It runs inside Voice Studio, so you do not set up a recording space, buy a microphone or schedule a narration session for every new script.

Marketing teams producing introduction videos, trainers writing lessons and courses, creators narrating stories and podcasts, and businesses preparing in-store or phone announcements all use it. Text to speech shares an account with Voice Agents, and you can use Voice Studio on its own if that is all you need.

From script to narration: how it works

Prepare your script. Write or paste the text you want narrated; the studio shows the character count of the script you are about to voice.

Choose its voice and language. Listen to sample recordings in the voice library, pick the voice that suits your delivery, and select the output language.

Generate, listen and share. The text is converted to speech; you listen to the finished audio, check pronunciation, pace and tone, then download it for your video, your course or your project.

Voice over use cases by sector

Text to speech fits any content work where a finished script needs an audio version. These are the common cases:

  • E-learning and internal training: lesson scripts, module narration and onboarding material.
  • Product and marketing narration: introduction videos, campaign scripts and presentation voice over.
  • In-store and phone announcements: welcome, information and notice recordings.
  • Podcasts and audiobooks: episode scripts narrated in a single storytelling voice.
  • Accessibility: producing spoken versions of articles, guides and announcements.
  • Multilingual content: localizing one script by narrating it in several output languages.

Languages, the voice library and neighbouring tools

You pick the output language you want to hear. Every library voice has a sample recording in that language, so you can judge it before you generate anything.

Voice Studio holds three more tools next to text to speech: speech to text, voice design and voice cloning. They all run in the same account and draw on the same credit balance.

  • Output languages: Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Greek, Czech, Romanian and Hungarian.
  • Choosing a voice: library voices are listed with their gender, tone and delivery description, and can be played before you pick one.
  • Neighbouring tools: speech to text turns meeting and conversation recordings into readable text; voice design creates a new voice character from a description you write; voice cloning builds a reusable voice identity from an authorized recording.
  • One account: text to speech usage shares the same account and the same credit balance as Voice Agents.

Credits, plans and the free trial

Narration is paid for from the shared credit balance that comes with your subscription plan. Voice tools spend credits according to usage, and for text to speech the measure is the character count of the narrated script. Because Voice Agents draws on the same balance, you can split your usage between the two products however you like.

Extra credit packs add credits to your balance without changing your plan. To begin, the free trial credits let you try text to speech on a script of your own. Current plans, credit allowances and unit rates are listed in the pricing section.

Frequently asked questions

Does English or Turkish narration need a separate setup?

No. You select the output language, add your script and generate. The sample recordings in the voice library play in the language you selected, so you can judge a voice in that language before you commit to it. No microphone, recording space or installation is involved, only credits in your account.

Which languages can the text to speech tool narrate?

You can set the output language to Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Greek, Czech, Romanian or Hungarian. Narrating one script in several of them lets you produce multilingual introduction, training and announcement content from a single place, without rewriting the workflow for each language.

Can I download the voice over I create?

Yes. When the narration is ready you listen to it, check pronunciation and delivery, then download the file. Use the download in a video, a course, a podcast episode or an internal announcement. You can also edit the script and generate a fresh recording in the same voice.

Can I have my scripts read in my own voice?

That is what voice cloning in Voice Studio does: it creates a voice identity from a recording you own or have permission to use, and then narrates new scripts in that voice. If library voices already suit your content, the text to speech tool alone is enough.
